Wind was not terrible here in Ashe County NC....Gusts to 48 mph around 6:30
this AM. Some small trees down and plenty of other stuff blown
around...lawn chairs in the road etc. Not too unusual for winter here in
the mountains....Current temp 28 degrees Barometer 30.09 and steady wind out
of the NW at 8 mph gusting to 16...
