On Wednesday morning 11/22/00 freezing temperatures occured into the
inland rural areas of the south central peninsula. The state low was 19
in Crestview, followed by Alachua at 20 in the north, Brooksville with
22 in central and Ona with 29 in south central.
I always do a freeze forecast verification for my customers the next
morning, so as to eat crow :<(( or crow like a rooster. :<)) We
correctly forecasted the freeze event 21 days in advance and the minimum
temperature readings this morning four days in advance.
