Some interesting temperature contrasts around the state tonight due
to variable wind speeds. At 11:00 pm in the north Crestview is 27 and
Alachua 29, ops. normal.
However on the central peninsula here in Plant City I have the
coldest temperature at 33 deg, with a ground surface temperature of 31
deg and frost. Nearby Dover is 39 and Ona in Manatee County in the south
central has 35 deg. The perennial cold spot on the peninsula at
Brooksville has a warmer 38 deg.
Immokakee in the northern everglades has 44 deg.
