Here in N.E. Georgia, we got up to, and maybe in some places even exceeding
5" of snow today. The range was from a dusting in Northern Hall county to 5"
in Rabun County. Here, near Tallulah Falls, Ga., we received right at 2" of
snow.....in mid November....that is amazing! The temperature started out in
the mid 30's and quickly fell to 31° when the heavier snow started, then it
started accumulating. For pictures of the snow, check out my website at
http://www.hemc.net/~sadams/storm.html
The NWS issued a Winter Weather Advisory last night for last night and
today....looks like they hit it on the head...they also were calling for 2"
to 3"...looks like they hit that also! Bruce Johnson also did an excellent
job in forecasting this site...I suggest if you are from Habersham, Stephens
or even from around Athens, Ga...check his page out for a great local
forecast. His url is http://www.alltel.net/~brucej/weather/forecast.html
There are 9 small pictures for you to view...I hope you enjoy them....I know
my kids really enjoyed the snow today!
