We should have Hurricane Keith by lunchtime today. Presently it's in
an environment of weak steering currents and little shear, so continued
strengthening will occur.
Unless we get lucky and have Keith go ashore in Mexico once it really
starts moving, the next positive tilt full latitude 500 mb trough
progged by the ECMWF and other models, will draw a possible cat ?
(afraid to say) into the west coast of Florida ala Opal. This is a
serious threat!!!
