This morning around 6:00am Upstate NY received a very strong round of
thunderstorms. Fortunately in Saratoga Springs we received nothing more
than a period of strong gust winds(30mph) But just to the south of us,
The NWS was on the scene investigating a possible tornado that
critically injured a tractor trailer driver. Many areas received minor
damage and power outages. According to the local News tonight , the NWS
after investgating believe that the damage was caused by a micro burst,
with estimated wind speeds somewheres between 75 and 110 mph. To JEFF S
