In Cape Coral, we received another half inch of rain this evening bringing the total recorded from my rain guage to 6.5 inches with more to come. There are areas in Lee County which have received up to 10 inches of rain. The tornadoes on Sanibel Island and Matlacha (near Pine Island) caused considerable damage to condo's and other buildings including roofs being ripped off. Flooding has occurred in parts of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Bonita Springs. Up in Charlotte County, there has been flooding
in the Englewood area and Manasota Key. Richard
