The stubborn summer of 2000 continues to sizzle over Texas as nine

Texas (120 miles South of Dallas)on Monday was 99 degrees. The
average high temperature for the first eleven days of September is
100.8 degrees and the mean temperature is 8.8 degrees above normal.
