Daniel has now strengthened to a hurricane in the Eastern Pacific. Its coordinates are(as of 11am et/10am ct) 12.4 N, 114.0 W... moving west northwest at 17 mph. The maximum sustained winds are at 75 mph, with gusts to 90 mph. The minimum central pressure is down to 991 millibars.

Daniel is expected to continue to strengthen to Category 3, then fall to Category 2 by 48 hours and stay that way through 72 hours. Movement will be west-northwest... then more westerly.
