For Wednesday, July 12, 2000
I recorded the first triple digit maximum
temperature of the year today...an even 100
degrees. The NWS in Waco (35 miles N) also
recorded 100 degrees for a high as did the Temple
and Killeen AWOS. Not gonna complain too much as
by this date in 1998, we had already had 28 days
of 100 degree plus temps. In fact, the record high
temperature for today is 109 degrees...recorded in
1998.
