Category 1 Hurricane Carlotta continues to weaken over the Eastern Pacific. At 5 pm et/4 pm ct, Carlotta was about 200 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Maximum sustained winds were near 75 mph, with higher gusts. Movement to the northwest near 14 mph. Minimum central pressure at 980 millibars.
All Tropical Storm Watches have been Canceled by the Government of Mexico along the Baja California peninsula.
Heavy surf along the Baja coast continues to be the main threat.
