I've been in the Navy for four years now. After C-school I chose to come
here to get away from the heat and humidity of the South of which I have lived
in for too many years. Though I do miss the storm chasing, I figure I can take
a little break before going to the University of Oklahoma. I figure I'll get to
make up for lost time there. Offshore flow is quite a pain here given that very
few buildings have air conditioning here on the coast. You just kinda have to
grin and bare it. It's a beautiful area though. I love it here.

Hi Aaron,
I was an AG1 in the U.S. Coast Guard. Our green is just now starting
to return. Our 7 month drought killed 1000's of trees and scorched our
hills and pastures brown like the thrust fault hills in your area during
summer.
