We have had 2.34" of rain here in southern Connecticut in the last 11 hours.
Basements and low streets are under water. A street with a brook down the
middle is under a foot of water though. The tide is about 2 feet above
normal. There are also strong winds with gusts in the 20`s and 30`s.The
heavy downpour and strong winds are causing large branches to break off.
