The heat is back. Max temps. for Friday 6/2/00-

Numerous 97's and 96's

Soil moisture scale for desert classification is 700+. Yesterday north
and cental Florida surpassed 800.

At 2:00 pm on Saturday 6/3/00 temps across inland north and central
areas are again approaching 100 deg with dew points in the mid 50's to
low 60's. This represents an EXTREME fire danger.

The rainy season wll try to sputter to life today through Wednesday 6/6
but the lightning induced fire danger will be extremely high.
