Here in rural west Plant City I observed a high temp. of 97 deg. This
is the highest reading I could find in the state but it also occurred in
many other locations today.
The onshore W-SW flow weakened some today allowing the hottest temps.
to occur in a wider area, rather then being confined to east central and
east coast and east coast areas.
With increased atmospheric subsidence humidity levels fell back into
the upper 20 to mid 30% range, making the feels like temperature more
tolerable but also making the wildfire danger more volatile.
