[STORMREPORTS] Hot Weather In Florida

Like Art in Port Richey, Fl. here in Plant City, Fl. we reached 94
deg today, our second high temp. of the season above 90 deg., with a low
of 66 deg. The 94 deg. though hot for mid May is still 4 deg. short of
the record.
As Port Richey is on the west coast and Plant City is well inland,
you would expect to see the temperature differences.
Though most coastal areas of peninsula Florida have never seen 100
deg. for a max temp., Tampa only 98 deg, it's quite common inland.
There are two chamber of commerce myths about Florida weather,
minimum temps. rarely fall below 32 or rise above 100, boths very
untrue.
