At 4:45 PM a severe thunderstorm hit the Clinton County area where my home town of Frankfort is located with quarter inch size hail and 80 mph clocked winds, alond with heavy rain and severe lightning. Several tree's were ripped from the ground blocking streets, damaging homes, and causing power outages threw out the county including the Frankfort area. Several businesses, homes, and factory's lost part of the roof including St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. Several trucks were blown off the road. At this time there are parts of the area without power. This was not a tornado but as I was in the storm looked like straight line winds.
