Hello everyone,
After a record warm night (66), we rose to 91. The warmest low for a May
8 was 61 from 1966, the previous record high for the date was 90 in
1963. Local daily records only go back to 1948. The 91 reading was under
a shade tree, the airport reached 93 degrees, the 3rd 90 plus day in a
row. The heat index was 92 at mid afternoon.
Pollen continues at very high levels, with todays reading of 1635,
including 1523 for trees & 112 for grasses.
Ozone pollution is forecast to be unhealthful for sensitive people in
the Washington DC region again Tue. Heres a link for cities nationwide:
