Here in Upper Northwest D.C., our readings are almost always cooler than
National's, except in early spring, when the river cools the airport. I had
read that some speculate National airport to be warmer than the rest of the
area because the heat from the city flows downstream to the airport with the
river breezes.
95 at Lanham may have been the high for the area.
