Charlotte area, North Carolina checking in. So far 2 storms have hit the
Charlotte metro area. One the NW side of town, and the other on the SE side
( by Indian Trail, etc. ). Right now we are in between storms, with the
thunder still abundant and rain off and on. Temps are still high, and the
sun is still shining, which will add to the instability. Some more
possibly severe ) storms will rock out area tonight, but after sunset, the
change dramatically gets reduced. Winds are from the south ( but very
variable ), at around 10 miles per hour, but up to 38 MPH at 5: 35 PM ( with
the 1st cell that moved in ). No hail yet, and no extremely close lightening
to Matthews, but A storm is getting closer by the minute from Rock Hill,
S.C. area. Anyone got any reports around Charlotte?

Alan
