after spending 4 hours reviewing surface and upper air
charts I am very concerned about what may happen in
Indiana and Kentucky.
There seems to be a sharp change in wind direction
with height, especially over the Lousville Ky area.
MN also seems in line for hail.I am realy worried about
Kentucky. As the storm moves east I anticipate strong to
severe thunderstorms in eastern NC and ne SC.Wind
profiles show that damaging straight line winds are more
likely than tornadoes. However,if a SE seabreeze front
moves inland that will increase the risk of tornadoes.
I wish the people in the upper midwest good luck and
the Louisville KY area most of all.
