Had some snow flurries around noon today in West Orange, NJ. Then,
around 12:50 p.m., a light snow shower came through. Some of the flakes
were sticking to my coat (which had been in a room at room temperature
for hours. The snow sticks to that, but not to grassy areas or roofs or
cars. How's that for irony? :)
Final snow total here for the 99-00 winter is 23.25" Normal snowfall
for nearby EWR (Newark) from November to April is 26.5" So while I
technically got below normal snowfall, it was, overall, a fairly average
winter in terms of total snowfall (for once).
