Hello everyone,

The day started ou sunny & quite warm, I had to work 11:30-6:30pm
tonight. Luckly where I work I have a very excellent view outside. At
around 12:30-12:45pm some light showers moved into the area. Rain was
very brief& the sun reappeared with a spectacular rainbow.

Temperatures heated back into the upper 60's, lower 70's while it was
extremely humid. About 4pm a thunderstorm approached from the west.
This storm brought hail upto 1" (Quarter) & heavy rain.

Storms contnuied to backbuild with a very severe storm approached
Manasssas with a very well defined Shelf cloud, Mammantus clouds were
also visiable. Hail to 3/4" (Dime) frequent cloud to cloud & cloud to
ground lightning. I was able to chase this storm & will post pictures
later tonight!!

The third storm which I just shared, was quite defined & puts a person
in aww of the beauty & power a thunderstorm can produce. This
thunderstorm turned day into night, Nearly pitch black!!!
