Just drove from Harrisburg back to the Greensburg area and saw some pretty awesome looking cumulonimbus on the way back. Did encounter a few cells near the Sideling Mt. Service Plaza and Breezewood between 3 and 4 o' clock. Saw something I can only describe as cloud curls. These looked a lot like mammatus, but curled to make a semi-circle appearance. Any clue what these were? Did encounter some pretty high cross-winds up in the mountains. Looking at the State College Radar and it looks like they decided to blossom after I passed them.
