Hello all,
For the fourth straight day, we had no sun. In fact the drizzle &
showers returned overnight & continued sporadically into this evening.
Storm total here is now 1.46" .No major flooding was reported, but
standing water was a problem in places Tue.
Skies are likely to break enough to allow 30% sunshine Thur. That could
boost the the temperature to almost 60. We've been in the 40s the last
5 days. Temperatures about 70 are forecast for Fri & Sat.
I checked NWS statements and rainfall of 2 - 4" fell between Baltimore
MD & Harrisburg PA, elsewhere in the mid Atlantic 1-2" were common.Snow
totals in the Appalachians averaged 4- 8", but a few mountain tops, had
more than a foot. Mt. Storm in Grant County WV (only 35 miles to my WSW)
had 12" early Tue.
Total, accumalated rain for previous 7 days from now for the mid
Atlantic, from Accu Weather
