That's right Steve. I used to allow this but the main complaint was
that people who were on a slow connection had to wait a long time to
donwload their email and ended up unsubscribing. Also, to send one
photo to the CASILIST requires 100mb of bandwidth and thus far we can't
afford that.
If you DO have pictures of severe weather, I encourage you to FTP them
to the CASI site (ask me for more details), ICQ them to me, or Email
them to j{at}weatherwatchers.org. That way I can post them to the CASI
site.
This might also be a good opportunity to mention the WeatherPics list
which is an email list that is dedicated to accepting and transmitting
(daily or severe or archived) weather photos. CASI is in full support
of this group.
