I'm not sure what it was this time... but seems like typically in the
summer you do see higher temperatures grouped in East Central VA. Also
there is a hot spot from East Central NC through SC. The hottest spots
in the nation are often found there. I would be interested in seeing
record highs by city plotted in those areas to see if I'm right...
Record highs are 110 and 111 for NC, SC, and VA.
Course MS, TN, KY, OH beat those...
