Hello all,
We soared to 74 Thursday, and to 79.5 today, Today's high was a record
for the day & MONTH. Previous monthly record was 79 at radio station
WINC from 2-24-85.
WINC is our "official" NWS obv. station. But the station only record
monthly extremes. I keep local data for my records from 1977, and have
the airport data back to 1955.
A scattering of thunderstorms broke out in Lancaster & York counties PA,
are moving SE along a back door cool front, along the Chesapeake Bay
toward Ocean City MD. Radar estimates that 1 to 2.5" fell in some areas.
That front will return north Sat, and we are due for more 75 degree
weather over the weekend, till we "cool off" to around 60 early next
week.
