We were to have recieved 2-4" of snow last night, followed by sleet and
freezing rain. Snow started here in High Point around 5 pm, then stopped, and
started up again around 7 pm, and stopped by 9 pm. In all, we recieved about
an inch, if that... Now we are getting light freezing rain.

Seems the atmosphere was too dry for the snow to reach the ground in the
manner predicted. North of Charlotte, Huntersville recieved about 4-5 inches
before it tapered off last night. Most precipitation in NC seems to have
fallen closer to the South Carolina border.

Snow has remained on the ground for nearly a week here in central NC, which
is very unusual for us. Have gotten about 9 inches combined total for all
three snows in the past week. Ok, we are ready for spring now! Daffodils are
up 5 inches and ready for a hint of warm weather!
