Jeremy-
Pardon me for butting in on this conversation but my parents weather radio
also went off for the WSW Monday night. This one was issued by the Taunton
Mass office (not sure where Sharon's located). At first I thought the same,
didn't think NWS hit the tones on long term watches/warnings. I just
figured that due to fact this was a "surprise" storm, they wanted to get the
message out as soon as possible. Most people don't watch the 11 o'clock
news.
