After a record high for the date of 80 deg we sit at 71 deg at 11:00pm,
like summer. Of course we are cloudy with a SW wind of 15 mph with rain
and a cold front on our doorstep but still very warm for a December
evening!
It reminds me of when I lived in Houston, Tx. in the mid 1980's. One
January night in 1985 the low was 72 deg with a SSE wind of 25 mph off
of the GOM but a cold front passed through by late morning and the temp
abruptly dropped into the low teens.
