The Weather Channel noted this evening that this is the first time in
history that a storm of this strength has been heading EAST in the
Caribbean to threaten the islands.
The closest match was a storm in 1909 they said.
The 8pm statement from the hurricane center indicated that winds have
increased to 115mph.
